The tension sure rose to the max as we played Trigger right at the beginning of our performance (o。q°o)

(o。q°o)<How was it (for you)?

 

It made me happy that we could also heat up the live house with Domestic Crisis.

One of the songs from the setlist was a song chosen by request via a poll we had beforehand. Well, since we had to go by plan, the nr.1 requested song was Obligation from the album GRIMOIRE.

 

While this represented a song we normally would include in our setlists, it might just be that Obligation is the song that represents Nokubura’s light, bright image the most.

 

However, if you look deeper into this song’s lyrics and the artwork that was only sold at the live, then you will be able to see that this song symbolizes a certain period of Nokubura (‘s musical development).  

 

It might be that people who come to our concerts often are already familiar with this song, but once you really focus and listen to its content…

…it may sound like something unfamiliar, like a fresh breeze that is never the same no matter how many times you experience it.

Because you greeted us with open arms after such a long time of absence, the staging could also be reinforced with full power.

Moreover, the synthesizer charging machine (our 6th member) has sadly reached its life’s limit.

Guess it’s time for a member change….

(o。q°o) At Toys R Us

Thank you so much for shouting out my name when Ryo Kiba introduced me! (o。q°o)

I wonder why it’s so reassuring (once one hears those shouts)!

And then when Hakuei suddenly appeared during the intro and said: ”Ha, it’s really him!”, he looked at me from the side…me, who was all embarrassed (o  q o)=

I didn’t think the day would come where I would hear a romance sung to me by the said person, like seriously….

 

Concerning the sessions with my senpais (seniors), basically it was a step by step stance that I experienced there.

Since the position of the lead guitarist was left to none other than me, Cazqui from Nokubura, I just HAD to take over and join in!

Besides, I don’t want to talk bad about this famous type of music, the so called “Romance”, the sound just has to match the musical piece, ne.

Made me think quite a bit in many various ways.

And then it hit me/I understood.

 

- the day before the live –

As dark clouds hung heavily across the sky

Cazqui faced Toys R Us all on his own!

(o。q°o)< what a discovery!

I went there looking for a flamboyant toy that could produce awesome sounds.

That one state of the guitar where you could hear that certain extreme sound being produced in through it, well, I picked up this specific sound in one of the toys’ sounds. 

(By the way, even though it may be an animated video and one part of it involves being listened to, during the newly recorded song I-V-III I used a slide bar, thus a gull-like cry immerged.)

 

Anyways….

 

So there I was, a silver haired adult man, amongst little children, pressing the button of one of the toys shown on display and producing scary, weird sounds resonating through the whole store:

 

“(o。q°o)< BAGYUUUUUUN!”

 

“(o。q°o)< CHU DODODOOOOON!”

 

“(o。q°o)< KYOOOOOOOOOOOON!” 

 

Standing there with an earnest face, comparing the toys with one another…I think this might have been one of the most absurd/abnormal things people have ever seen in their entire lives.

 

“Why is he studying those so hard? Is it some kind of punishment game (his friends put upon him)?

(oXqXo)....

 

But I found it....

Really! Let’s call it Chiburedo!

Aaah, this is really something!

As for this, this is my Excalibur! (o。q°o)/

Because while the flow of the solo that I devised was responsible for my arm movement, it was actually this Maji Chiburedo that, once I took it into my hand, was responsible for the flow from then on.   

Taking the season we’re in into account, I attached the sheath of the stocking to a microphone stand.

By the way, the twin lead with Arlequin’s Nao, who happened to have been my neighbour, was a spontaneous arrangement that day right before the live (o。q°o)

To be able to experiencing the true charm of a session like this was truly new and fun!

(o。q°o) Guitar NEET (temporary)

▲There were so many people attending our concert, I’m very very greatful(o。q°o)

 

Osaka, thank you d(o。q°o)b

 

I think that up until now the setlist for Osaka has been the most brutal one, with you all head banging one by one beside each other.

 

You people on the floor were transmitting such a hot energy, it was really fun!

 

I mean, at this tour, everything was at one point warm and at the other extremely hot.

One personal regret I had was around the time we played „The Beautiful Craze“ when I used the main strings.

 

Even though there was a high risk that the strings could snap while I played those flamboyant harmonic “squeal” sounds (I heard that high-pitched sound a lot especially during the newly recorded song T.Y.R.A.N.T), up until now I was able to control the technique quite well, so I ended up not killing myself for having possibly screwed up (<- meant in a sarcastic way).

 

...no matter if something should happen or not, as I recently was a bit worried about the stability of the low string’s pitch, I, as soon as I came back to Tokyo, ordered a thicker string.

I immediately tried it out and tested if it worked – it was really good!

In the glare magazine that was released a few days ago (thanks a lot to the people who read it!) it was published that the thickness of the strings was 0.60~0.09, but I must admit that that was a bit wrong and the strings were a bit thicker.

Plus, 0.64 is the thickness you’d already find as the one for the bass guitar.

22.11 - Hiroshima Namiki Junction - thx★

Could we be playing DESPERATE?

Damn, it was hot…

The bass’s vibrations were extreme and so the 6 members of Nocturnal Bloodlust (synthesizer/Mr.FX lol) enjoyed it to the fullest, forgetting time and space around themselves.

 

It sure has been a long time since we have experienced such a vivid feeling (o。q°o)

 

It felt like we were in some kind of small box (meaning: consumed in our own little world)!

 

It’s the first time since Nokubura’s existence that the synthesizer’s sound could be heard only coming from the CD.

The live’s sound was full of life from the beginning till the end!

The introduction at the live was Lost Memory which I had played at the Gekirock Festival in the end of 2010.

I learnt it well.

I also wrote the song during a studio session back in those days and it turned out to be a sensation/a feeling I really miss.

I wonder if through this lively music (played on stage) the band’s hidden energy could be revealed.

But even so, seeing you all having fun and enjoying yourselves made me really happy!

Though it was the first time in Hiroshima, because you were such a nice and warm hearted audience you made us from Nokubura all really happy (o。q°o)

By the way, Hiroshima Namiki Junction’s Marshal was great (the part of the equipment where the sound of the guitar comes out)

 

 

 

 

 

Up until now I’ve seen many worn out, coming-of-age Marshals at the rehearsal studios, but this one here really is a top class product.

(What on earth did I ever do to create that hole?)

 

This, this is evidence of a box full of history.

 

Speaking of the “cabine”

 

 

Starting with this tour it suddenly became a white one

This is not the white guitar cabinet to which the only I thing I did was to bleach it

 

It incorporates the unyielding mind and soul of D.I.Y.

 

In fact, there is also a back side which you weren’t able to see.

(o。q°o)THE OMNIGOD

2nd full album “The Omnigod” has been completed.

It is over.

While having had my senses completely sharpened throughout the entire production, I felt like I had reached a whole new level.

 

This album is a product in which one will be able to feel NOCTURNAL BLOODLUST’s spirit

even more than in GRIMOIRE.

 

If I’m not mistaken, then the interview focussing on THE OMNIGOD is soon going to be

made public... The interview is going to be released a bit earlier, before the tour starts. Read it (more than once) ne.

 

I feel it when I talk too much, the way I with all my might try to choose words representing what I want to say in a way you would also be able to understand it.

 

And I think to myself: “How utterly foolish you look”

I think: “What is it that, when alone, must become this heat-struck/hot?”

 

The time has come to to talk about it via the media

 

I talked about future outlooks misinterpreted by the readers and even by the interviewer himself.

Likewise, things such as the type of music with the sole aim of head banging (word for word translation would have been: shaking one’s head from side to side, back and forth), have also been included. Yeah, things like that.

 

We talked about artists who do nothing else than come up with heavy music or like any other music other than that for the matter.

 

I wonder, is it only an image of a rough sound, a wild sound...? (meaning that such artists only seek attention through writing such music and not actually liking or living it)

I always talk (about matters, things) with this assumption in the back of my mind

 

(after all, it dates back to a long time ago that a lot of especially loud music has been handled this way)

 

I dedicated half of my life to such music.

 

After all, I hate it when the sound you love and which you do not ever want to stop is seemingly randomly blown in the wind (meaning: treated lightly with no feeling).

Of course I understand that this view point has nothing to do with the listener.

 

In a world that hates or likes it (such music), I think you are free to decide how you perceive something and whether you like something or not.

 

Inside, the music on the CD is the same as the tour goods...yet I think there are also people who think that the latter might be secondary

 

Of course I think that one should likewise be thankful to those who decide to only listen to the music and I feel I may be ridiculous in my objection(s) to such people

 

Even so, this is what I’m ready to sacrifice my life for, completely having lived in exchange for this sound

 

Because you are straightforwardly confronted with it, I want you to receive it with the same straightforwardness.

 

With this favour I ask of you in the background, dear readers, this interview was held. We talked about different things. We talked for a long time.

Once, I thought about me listening to the finished product..

I wonder, does the product “THE OMNIGOD” tell the whole story...

If I wouldn’t be troubled by such things as a time limit and the number of letters published, there would also be no need for selecting (politically correct) words.

I thought to myself that through the sound in which one's natural being is engraved into by the blood of 5 people, the feelings experienced at that moment.. they too then are also recorded in the sound itself

I wondered if this art piece, as a whole, could be viewed as one creation of us all. Yet in the end when looking at it more closely, each piece was a work of an individual (and represents each one of us).

 

Well then, I managed to cover everything important that I wanted to cover (also including the instrumental version which can be found on the Extreme Edition CD)

 

I think I was able to put forward the essence of my artist persona

I wish all people would listen to it

 

Please, please indulge in it with all your might!
